When God said "Remember..." Exodus 20:8

Mission Statement:

Our sole and sincere mission is "to extend the challenge to all who would, with the divine blessing of the Holy Spirit, be diligent in seeking God's will for mankind, through the study of His Holy Scriptures."

Core Values:

  • We value God's love for His fallen world manifested by His supreme sacrifice through His perfect plan of redemption.
  • We value and take seriously Jesus Christ's admonition in John 14:15, when He says "If ye love me,  keep my commandments."
  • We value Christ's instructions in Matthew 28:19-20, to His Apostles when he says: "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost: Teaching them whatsoever I commanded you: and, Lo I am with you always, even until the end of the world."
  •  We value and take seriously the Apostle Paul's words and his second epistle to Timothy (3:16-17) when he says "All scripture is given by inspiration by God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction and righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."
  • We value the fundamental principals of faith, courage and fortitude, and the fundamental right of freedom of religion which allows us to follow our convictions in spite of what the majority may practice.

And how does one reciprocate God's great love
and sacrifice for mankind?

"If you love me, keep my commandments."

John 14:15

"For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments."
1 John5:3

       GOD’S 10 COMMANDMENTS

Exodus 20:3-17 & Deuteronomy 5:7-21

"And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables."  Exodus 32:16

To those of us who believe that all ten Commandments of the Law of God still remain in force, it should seem strange that God's "set times and laws" (Daniel 7:25) should have been changed at all.  The 4th Commandment requires the observance of the seventh day of the week.  But that day is not now observed by the overwhelming majority of the professed people of God.  Nevertheless, the law remains unchanged, is still in force, and is the standard of God’s judgment.

Were not the majority of Bible believers walking in deception at Christ's first coming?  We cannot trust what the majority practices.   Jesus warned that the masses would follow the broad path that would lead to destruction.  In contrast,  He said "...straight is the gate and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." Matthew 7:13-14.

Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my Sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is  a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you."  Exodus 31:13

“For in the sixth days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is them is and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hollowed it. “‘ Exodus 20:11

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:  a good understanding have all they that do his commandments..."   Psalms 111:10

Many Bible believing Christians  agree that God’s Ten Commandment Law (Exodus 20:3-17) is still in effect today, but they choose to ignore the 4th.  They even confess that Sunday keeping is the result of the “tradition of men," rather than God-inspired instruction.

You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the tradition of men ...you have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions.”  Mark 7: 8-9

"Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men."  Isaiah 29:13

"...they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my Sabbaths..." Ezekiel 20:21

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you."  Deuteronomy 4:2

"And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws."  Daniel 7:25

"For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."  Matthew 24:24

"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ."   II Corinthians 11:13-15

"And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which decieveth the whole world."  Revelation 12:9

Many seventh day Sabbath keepers are accused of being “legalists.”  Is obeying the other nine Commandments of God also considered “legalistic?”  What  makes one a “legalist," obeying the laws of man, or obeying the laws of God?

The devil doesn't care why you disobey God as long as you do it.  You can even do it in the name of religion, and some of the most religious people have done so down through history!

"All who exalt their own opinions above divine revelation, all who would change the plain meaning of Scripture to suit their own convenience, or for the sake of conforming to the world, are taking upon themselves a fearful responsibility."
-E. G. White
